If you haven’t been in touch with the Barcelonian nightlife, you have really missed out on something. Barcelona offers some of the trendiest nightclubs and discos. The best time to go out is on Thursday-, Fridays-and Saturday-evenings and most of the times you don’t have to pay an entrance fee.
The current favourites are ‘Fellini’, in the basement of the Estacio de Franca, and the ‘Nitsaclub’, which calls itself ‘the New York-style disco where the beautiful people go’ (opens at midnight). If you like a more Latin and Salsa style, ‘Antilla Cosmopolita’ is the hottest place to be. The more alternative people find their way to ‘Zeleste’ or ‘Studio 54′.
Barcelona is a lively city at night and if you don’t feel like dancing, there is always a nice bar or cafe where you can have a nice drink and tapas. Feel like watching a movie? The ‘Filmotheca de la Generalitat’ is a good option. Theatre performances can be seen at the ‘L’Espai de Danza i Musica’.

For nightlife you have several options. If youre there during opera season and are lucky enough to have opera tickets eat an early dinner enjoy the performance and end with coffee and a Sacher torte at the cafe in the Hotel Sacher. Or you might go to the part of the central district known as the Bermuda Triangle where the small restaurants and the bars are open late. A third possibility would be to head for a Heurigen (a wine bar) for an evening of music and tasting of the years new wine (Sturm).

Amsterdam is the perfect place to party! Most clubs open at 10 pm and stay open until 4 or 5 am. However, usually things only get going after midnight, so try and keep yourself awake. Sometimes the bouncers say you have to be a member of the club, but a little negotiating you can sometimes win them round. Some clubs like the Melkweg offer one night memberships for a few euro.
