Kasu Brahmanda Reddy National Park

The Kasu Brahmananda Reddy National Park is located at Jubilee hill in Hyderabad, opposite L.V.Prasad Eye Institute is a paradise for walkers and joggers which covers an area of 156.30 hectares. The park was established in 1994 to safeguard the biodiversity and richness of the area. This was named after late Kasu Brahmananda Reddy, the former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. It shelters jungle cats, palm civets, wild boars, hares, mongooses, monitor lizards, peafowls, partridges, quails, pythons, cobras and other snakes. The park is covered by southern tropical deciduous forest. It offers you the opportunity to catch a glimpse of the Jackals, Mongooses, Wild Boars apart from over 100 species of birds, 20 species of reptiles and 15 species of butterflies. Don’t forget to take a look at the incredible variety of trees, plants and flowers that are endemic to this region. This is a house to nearby 100 species of birds, 20 species of reptiles, 15 species of butterflies, 20 species of mammals and numerous invertebrates. It serves as an urban refuge for Jungle Cats, Palm Civets, Wild Boars, Hares, Mongooses, Monitor Lizards, Pythons, Cobras and other snakes.
